Six Weeks | Of Monsters and Men
I ran for president of the Nursing Student’s Press at Hunter and I found out today that I won! I was soo surprised because the girl who I ran against was super qualified. She kept going on about being on the journalism honor society, and about being on the newspaper and the yearbook in high school and I made a video about how I could read. Somehow, I convinced people that I can do the job and now I’m excited beyond words to start working on the paper!

Jan 21 - Beach day
January 20 - We saw lots of pretty things
can we pretend that I haven’t posted anything in about two and a half weeks? 365 fail
MOVING ON! Here’s January 19th. We went rain forest-ing, then river-ing, then mountain-ing for dinner.
Today we went white water rafting down 18 miles of the Pacuare River. I can’t even begin to describe how amazing the entire trip was. This guy is spot-on with his description of the experience and way more eloquent than me, so check that out! (It’s pretty short anyways)
The first picture cracks me up so much because it shows how my mom has this talent for smiling for the camera, no matter what the circumstances are. I love the second picture because it has a shot of this canyon-type thing that we got to swim through, and that was my favorite part of the trip down the river. I don’t think any adventure from here on out can top this one :x
The Spring Standards | Bells and Whistles
I’m pretty sure I posted this on my other blog, but here it is again anyways! It’s my favorite long-ride-staring-out-windows song, and I’ve been doing a lot of that lately.
